About the Arcam FMJ AVR600

The Arcam FMJ AVR600 is one of the very first receivers to feature Dolby® Volume. This technology has two key advantages: it levels the wildly varying volume levels of broadcast media (especially true of TV advertisements) and provides volume-dependant tonal balancing, which gives a full, rich, and clear sound when listening at low levels, where much of the surround information is typically lost.

State-of-the-Art Digital Technology

By waiting for HD technology and chipsets to mature, Arcam has been able to use latest-generation technology silicon to deliver higher quality than competitors. Video scaling and processing for all sources is remarkable, bringing even standard-definition input close to HD quality. New audio decoding standards, including Dolby TrueHD and Dolby Digital Plus, are supported by the AVR600. Five HDMI™ inputs and two outputs allow multiple sources to feed separate displays.

The Arcam FMJ AVR600 advanced technology high-definition audio/video receiver will be available at a suggested retail price of £2,300.
