The Metadata Difference

Instead of aggregators and distributors having to create multiple variants from the master to ensure playback on different mobile devices, Dolby Media Generator produces a single standards-based file compatible with almost any mobile device.

Embedded within this file is metadata—a benefit to content creators, operators, and consumers alike. In fact, Dolby Media Generator adds five metadata sections to all processed files, sections ranging from business information for better reporting to liner notes, album art, and other information that will increase consumer engagement.
