New Dolby Atmos Post-Production Facilities

Dolby is proud to announce that two post-production facilities in Europe are now Atmos equipped and will support local filmmakers. Pinewood and The Post-Republic are already working on Atmos projects.

Dolby is focusing on growing the Atmos content pipeline for exhibitors and content creators to ensure that content creators mixing in Dolby Atmos can play their content in Atmos equipped cinemas and, similarly, that Atmos-ready exhibitors receive a continuous flow of Atmos films to capitalise on their new sound format.

Many renowned re-recording mixers have expressed the benefits of working in Dolby Atmos and the freedom it gives them to take soundtracks to a new level of realism. Acclaimed re-recording mixer Jim Bolt, along with Academy Award winning re-recording mixer Andy Nelson and Academy Award winning supervising sound editor Richard King, will be designing the Dolby Atmos mix for the Rise of the Guardians soundtrack.
