Every DVD player manufactured worldwide is equipped with Dolby® Digital decoding, and more DVD-Video titles are released in Dolby Digital than in any other audio format. With the upcoming introduction of the HD DVD and Blu-ray Disc high-definition disc formats, consumers will have a choice of standard-definition and high-definition optical media for video and audio.
