NA10 Network Automation Interface

The NA10 interfaces digital cinema equipment with your theatre’s existing automation system.

The Dolby® NA10 Network Automation Interface makes it easy to interface digital cinema playback equipment with existing cinema control systems, enabling fully automated presentations.

Extensive input and output capabilities enable digital cinema equipment to be linked to existing lighting, curtain, automation, and other ancillary systems. The unit turns network control from the digital cinema playback system into relay closures, mains switching, and serial control for driving existing equipment. The unit can be connected in parallel with existing film automation systems making it easy to switch between film and digital shows, and even to run seamless presentations mixing both film and digital content. An offline button enables cinema control to be handed over completely to an existing film automation system at any time.

Advanced features include 12 configurable momentary/latching outputs, plus eight inputs that can be used for tally signals and to automatically trigger individual cues or predefined cue sequences. For easy interfacing to existing equipment, two mains voltage relays are provided to drive slide projectors and other devices that do not feature low-voltage control. Front-panel indicators are provided for all inputs and outputs, ensuring that system status is clearly visible at all times.

The unit is easy to install and can be wall or rack mounted for wiring convenience. Conduit knockouts are provided to aid conformance with local electrical wiring regulations.
