The Dolby Digital Cinema Solution
The Dolby Digital Cinema solution includes simple and intuitive controls for your projectionists, powerful scheduling capabilities for your managers, and reliability for your technicians. Because the system is modular, you can install the Dolby Show Player where it is most convenient to operate.
The Dolby Digital Cinema solution supports the JPEG 2000 playback format, as specified by DCI, and also supports MPEG-2, ensuring compatibility with alternative content such as preshow advertising. The system also meets DCI specifications for security, data rate, and storage capacity, and can easily accommodate evolving standards.

Dolby Theatre Management System Software

Dolby Show Library
A high-capacity central server designed to facilitate the networking of a multiplex and meet its content storage needs, Dolby Show Library acts as the heart of the network, giving users the ability to load all content at one central location via Ethernet, satellite, removable hard drive, USB 2.0, or DVD. The unit then distributes files electronically to networked Dolby Digital Cinema systems within the multiplex.
