Digital cinema in 3D has created an opportunity to bring realistic, captivating entertainment to a wider number of cinema screens than ever before, but there are many factors to consider to ensure the best possible presentation with newer digital cinema technology.

Floating windows grow, shrink, and move to help preserve the onscreen 3D for movies.
Do not mask the 3D image on the screen.
Keep the image aligned. You can do this by using the framing chart that comes with the drive you are screening, if available.
When compensating for keystone, make sure the green lines on the sides and the yellow lines on the bottom are visible.
Do not mask out the green and yellow lines. Doing so will mask the movie's floating windows.
