Dolby® Virtual Speaker delivers a full surround sound experience from two stereo speakers.
Creates a realistic illusion of a 5.1-channel surround sound system
Works with any pair of stereo speakers
Offers high sound quality and long-term listening comfort
Dolby Virtual Speaker is a highly sophisticated, reference-quality virtual technology that delivers a full, realistic, and natural surround sound experience from just two stereo speakers.
Dolby Virtual Speaker gives listeners the feeling of sound coming from all around them. It works with any material in any format, from 5.1-channel Blu-ray Disc™ and DVD movies, music CDs, MP3 files, video games, and broadcast programming.
Typical surround systems have five main speakers, plus an optional subwoofer. Generally, the Left, Center, and Right channels are reproduced by speakers across the front of the listening area, while the surround effects are reproduced by two additional speakers at the sides or rear.
Dolby Virtual Speaker creates the same effect through a pair of stereo speakers, as if the audio was reproduced by a perfectly set up 5.1-channel system.
Dolby Virtual Speaker delivers reference-quality, highly natural surround sound and does not create listener fatigue. In fact, it is designed for long-term listening enjoyment.
