The Dolby Atmos® Connect Interfaces allows you to use legacy amplifiers in Dolby Atmos installations. The Dolby Atmos Cinema Processor CP850 employs an audio-over-Ethernet protocol to send a digital audio stream to Dolby Atmos Connect Interfaces. A Dolby Atmos Connect Interface converts the digital audio to analog audio for connection to amplifiers. Each Dolby Atmos Connect Interface offers 32 analog outputs.

A Dolby Atmos Cinema Processor CP850 together with a single Dolby Atmos Connect Interface can support up to 48 speaker feeds. Installations with more than 48 speaker feeds will need two Dolby Atmos Connect Interfaces.

        Ordering Instructions

        • For each Dolby® CP850 ordered, include the following information:
          • Provide the site name and address where the unit will be installed (this information may be different than the ship-to address).
          • Per CP850, specify the number of Dolby Atmos Connect Interface units needed.
          • Give contact information for those responsible for doing the room design and scheduling the room calibration for the Dolby Atmos Commissioning Service.
          • Provide approximate date of planned installation.

The CP850 will be shipped as directed at the completion of the Dolby Atmos Commissioning Service design review.
