Our Social Impact & Sustainability programs empower our employees to more deeply connect with one another and engage in strengthening Dolby’s internal and external communities.

Connecting meaningfully with our external communities

Dolby employees care about giving back, and Dolby Cares is our program to help them do that. We create and enable giving, volunteering, and learning opportunities for our people to engage as part of their employee experience through global all-employee programs, in partnership with employee networks and business groups, or in local activities led by our Dolby Cares Leaders in each office. We also provide a generous company match of up to $5,000 USD for personal donations to eligible causes and up to $1,000 in for volunteer time to amplify the impact they’re making both inside and outside of work.

Connecting intentionally through our internal communities

Employee Networks (ENs) allow employees to build intentional connections, customized professional development, cultural awareness, and work with Dolby leadership to advance diversity, inclusion, and belonging in our workplace. EN leaders and committees host various events throughout the year including cultural celebrations, book clubs, and mentor programs, often partnering together to highlight intersectionality between groups. Dolby’s 14 ENs focus on various dimensions of gender, racial, and experiential diversity and are open to all employees to participate in regardless of personal identities.
