Dolby Australia brings Electric Jellyfish to the Sydney Light Festival
Have you ever been inside a glowing and musical electric jellyfish?
If you're lucky enough to be in Australia for the famous Vivid Sydney celebration in Sydney over the next three weeks, you'll get a chance to see Dolby Australia's contribution to the famous light, music, and sound festival.
Vivid Sydney is a major annual event, attracting about two million visitors. It includes magical light shows projected onto historical buildings and loads of art installations that embrace technology, light, interactivity, and sound.
The festival runs from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. May 27 through June 18, right when Australia’s nights are at their longest and darkest.
Dolby Australia's contribution this year is a large, fantastical creation called Electric Jellyfish, a masterwork of light and sound. It's located in the courtyard of the Museum of Sydney in Circular Quay, about a block from the famous Sydney Opera house.
