Dolby at NAMM 2024

Dolby collaborated with several partners, including PMC, Avid, Neumann/Sennheiser, Genelec, Women’s Audio Mission, Apogee, Audeze, and more, to discuss updates to the Dolby Atmos ecosystem and the availability of educational resources. They also hosted Q&A sessions with music creators and showcased Dolby creator tools at partner booths during NAMM.

RZA in Dolby Atmos

RZA, co-founder of Wu-Tang Clan, a GRAMMY®-nominated rapper, actor, filmmaker, and record producer, discussed his upcoming orchestral album, A Ballet Through Mud. Fans got an exclusive sneak peek of the album in Dolby Atmos while touring the Lennon Bus. This album is the first to be mixed in Dolby Atmos on the Lennon Bus.

NAMM attendees toured the Dolby Atmos studio and experienced Dolby Atmos Music. They also participated in artist panel discussions about creating music in Dolby Atmos, accessing Dolby creator tools and additional educational resources, and learning workflows directly from mix engineers.

Emerging artists in Dolby Atmos

Pop artist Ella Rosa and R&B artist Reggie Becton discussed how Dolby provides independent music creatives like themselves with support, tools, and hands-on experience to bring their listeners closer to their artistic intent through Dolby Atmos.
