In this prequel to the smash hits A Quiet Place and A Quiet Place Part II, every little sound matters. The film shows the first days of the alien invasion that unleashed vicious hunters that use sound to hunt down their prey. It’s an action film, with all the big dramatic sounds you’d expect, but it also makes use of silences and small, directional sounds to raise tension as the protagonists struggle to survive in a world that’s been changed forever. You might want to watch this one with the lights on.

Lady Gaga joins the cast as Harley Quinzel, partner in crime to Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker, so you know there’s going to be music. What follows is a surreal musical take on the mayhem these two tormented souls get up to. In addition to the musical numbers, there are pulse-pounding moments of action.
