Sponsor reserves the right, without notice or prior approval, to modify or supersede these Official Rules in their reasonable discretion and in such ev ent will post revised Official Rules on the Website and at the Sponsor’s booth. The revised Rules will continue to govern all aspects of the Contest. The Contest is provided in the discretion of Sponsor and may be cancelled, postponed, modified or terminated for any reason in Sponsor’s absolute and sole discretion without liability of any kind.

By participating in this Contest individually (“Participant”), you agree to be bound to the Game Rules (defined below), all Contest related communications and decisions of the Sponsor, the Contest Host, and their authorized representatives (all collectively the “Promotion Entities”) in any and all media/medium, which are final and binding in all respects.

DESCRIPTION OF HALO GAME EVENT: Dolby is offering, pursuant to these Official Rules and Game Rules (Attachment A) the opportunity for eligible Participants on a first-come first-served basis, to play the Dolby Halo Infinite Contest in Last Spartan Standing format: comprised of twelve (12) rounds, each is a game of skill, each Game will have twelve (12) Participants, in a last-man-standing format in which the final round will be played by 12 finalists, prizes to be assigned in order of each Participant’s level of success in the
final Game (each is a “Game”, collectively the “Contest”). The Contest is held at the Dolby Booth at the HCS Tournament (the “Tournament”) held in Seattle, WA. (The Tournament is subject to rain-check and cancellation policies of organizers.) The Contest will be conducted pursuant to and in accordance with the Game Rules and under the supervision, instructions and directions of the Sponsor, Contest Host and their authorized third parties.
Participants must agree to the Game Rules in order to register for and participate in the Contest. Game consoles, Game Rules and high-speed wireless internet will be provided barring extenuating circumstances. Submission of Registration Materials does not evidence receipt, nor eligibility for or permission to participate; participation is limited and subject to prior verification and approval by Sponsor in its absolute discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to adjust the Contest and any element thereof including without limitation any Game, Game play and Participant numbers.
ELIGIBILITY: Participants in this Contest must be registered Tournament attendees, U.S. legal residents, 18 years of age or older, and must not be ineligible (as provided herein) nor under a conflicting employment, contractual or legal restriction to participate, or receive a prize if applicable (eligible “Participant”). An eligible Participant may enter on their own behalf only (and many not enter as a team or on behalf of their employer (a business, organization, corporation, institution or other business entity which may or may not be comprised of more than one individual). Employees, officers, directors, and contractors of the Sponsor, the Contest Host and/or other Promotion Entities, and individuals, third parties, and business entities who are involved, directly or indirectly, with the organization, administration, execution, judging or prize fulfillment of the Contest, the Tournament or any element thereof, are NOT eligible to participate. Other Tournament sponsors, Tournament Exhibitors and booth holders, and competitors of Sponsor are not eligible to participate or win. Immediate family members (spouses and parents, partners, children and siblings and their spouses, including foster and step-relations) and members of the same households (whether related or not) of any of the aforementioned ineligible individuals are also ineligible to participate in the Contest.
ENTRY PERIODS: It is anticipated but not guaranteed that the Contest will run between approximately 11:00 am PT – 3:30 pm PT on 10/22/2022. (“Contest Period”). Each Game (including set up and game play) is anticipated to last for approx. 20 minutes, and there are 12 Games anticipated to be played during the Contest, with the last Game being the final round to determine potential winners. Games and times are approximations and may be subject to change/variations due to this being a live event; times may be shortened or extended due to exigencies of the circumstances or as deemed necessary but shall apply uniformly to all participation/Participants. All times are Eastern time. The Sponsor’s clock shall be the official time keeping device for the Contest, unless otherwise stated.
GAME PLAY: In addition to these Official Rules additional Game play rules, standards and behaviors shall apply to participation in the Contest (collectively “Game Rules”). Game Rules shall govern Game play and participation by all Participants in the Contest and any and all Game(s); such Game Rules will be provided by Sponsor and/or Contest Host at the Booth prior to participation and on the Website. By participating, each Participant affirmatively agrees to abide by the Game Rules and agrees to be bound to Sponsor’s and Contest Host’s interpretations and decisions which are final and biding. Sponsor and Contest Host representatives will determine eligibility to participate, and oversee Game play by all Participants to ensure compliance with Game Rules and requirements, and they reserve the absolute right to immediately reject, eject and disqualify any Participant at any time in their discretion for ineligibility, or suspected or actual failure to follow any Game Rule(s). Without limiting the foregoing, if at any time a Participant and/or winner is found to have breached, violated or failed to comply with the Game Rules (or any Registration Materials or other agreement), in whole or in part, at any time, or is or found at any time to have been ineligible, they will be immediately disqualified and agree to immediate return in full any and all prizes to Contest Host (if applicable). Without limiting any other right or term herein, a Participant may be disqualified at any time from the Contest immediately if, in Sponsor’s (or its authorized representative’s) absolute discretion, it reasonably believes the Participant has, is suspected of, appears to, or has attempted to undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest or any Game, is suspected at any time of engaging in artifice, cheating, deception, fraud, theft, using multiple identities, engaging in illegal, harmful, dangerous, unsportsmanlike activities or obnoxious behavior, or other unfair practices, or has or attempts to annoy, abuse, threaten, harass, or intimidate or cause harm to any other Participant, any of the Promotion Entities or any other person, or if their actions may cause damage, destruction or loss of property.
Participants must participate in the Contest individually and cannot work in teams. Limit one (1) Game play per person. Once assigned a Game and time, Participants must play the assigned Game in accordance with Game Rules. Participants may not switch Games unilaterally or may forfeit their Game play. Sponsor or Contest Host may assign or re-assign an alternate Game in their absolute discretion, subject to availability.
Sponsor and Contest Host disclaim all responsibility for interrupted, terminated, lost, incomplete, invalid, incorrect, incompatible, or non-functioning Game play and all software, hardware, and equipment associated with the Contest. PROMOTION ENTITIES MAKE NO WARANTY, REPRESENTATION OR GUARANTEE, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, IN CONNECTION WITH THEIR ABILITY TO IN ANY WAY ENABLE, DEVELOP, MARKET OR PROMOTE THE PARTICIPANT. Participants agree that by participating in the Contest and/or receiving a prize does NOT give rise to or in any way create, either express or implied, any employer/employee, joint or co-venture, principle/agent, or any other employment, fiduciary, or other relationship, between them and any one or more of the Promotion Entities, or any other person or business entity. The Promotion Entities disclaim all responsibility and liability relating to all of the above, and Participants agree to release, indemnify, defend and hold them harmless in all respects for all issues relating thereto.
WINNER SELECTION: Assuming sufficient eligible Entries are received, it is anticipated that twelve (12) potential winners (potential “prize winners”) will be left based on their Game skills and successes prior to and in the final Game round.

Each cash prize will be mailed or emailed (in Sponsor’s discretion) on or by approx. thirty (30) days after receipt of required documents/information from potential winners and winner verification. All prize awards are contingent upon verification of potential winners and Entry, confirmation of their eligibility to receive a prize, and compliance with these Official Rules. Prize winners must be able to accept the prize in its entirety or not at all, or else prize may be forfeited (in Sponsors’ absolute discretion). Prizes will not be replaced if lost, stolen, misplaced, or destroyed. Sponsor reserves the right not to award a prize to any Participant for any reason if doing so would not be in the spirit of the Promotion, or if it may adversely affect the business reputation or goodwill, or have a detrimental impact on Sponsor, Contest Host, any other Promotion Entity, this Contest, The Tournament, or any of their respective brands, products or services as determined by Sponsor in its absolute discretion.
These Official Rules shall control and serve to clarify any confusion, discrepancy, error or mistake communicated (at any time before, during, or after the Contest or any part thereof) by and person or in any and all media. Sponsor and Contest Host reserve the right to correct any such error, mistake, or any typographical, printing, computer programming or operator error. Prizes are not assignable or transferable in whole or in part, and no cash or prize substitutions allowed, in whole or in part, except Sponsors reserve the right to substitute a prize of comparable value. In no event will Promotion Entities be responsible for awarding more than the stated value/number of prizes. In qualifying for a prize, one prize will be awarded to each winner as provided herein, subject to verification of eligibility and execution of applicable release documents provided by Contest Host at the conclusion of the Contest Period. Contest Host is responsible for all prize fulfillment through its third-party prize supplier and Sponsor disclaims any and all responsibility therefor to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. Potential winners may be required to provide contact information and other information within the time specified and are not final until their eligibility and compliance has been verified by Sponsor and Contest Host and a fully executed Declaration of Eligibility Liability and Publicity Release or other documentation is completed and returned from each potential winner, if requested, to the Sponsor within the time specified.
TAXES: All winners are solely responsible for any local, state, federal or any other applicable taxes, compliance with (governmental) reporting, filing and documentation requirements, and for any other costs, expenses and fees connected with their acceptance and use of the prize in their respective jurisdictions. Contest Host will provide the relevant tax documentations and winners agree to complete, file and return such documents, as applicable.
COMPLIANCE AND DISQUALIFICATION: In the event of disqualification for noncompliance, ineligibility, if a potential winner fails to timely respond to the first notification, refuses or fails to complete and return release documents as directed on or within the time stated, or for any other reason arising after the Contest, that prize will be forfeited in its entirety and that respective prize will not be awarded. Returned, undelivered, unclaimed, forfeited or un-awarded prizes will not be (re)awarded. Promotion Entities shall have the right, where necessary, to undertake all action and/or require further information as is reasonable to protect themselves against fraudulent or invalid claims, potential public scandal, ridicule, or disrepute in awarding the prize to any Participant.
THE GAME RULES (PUBLISHED IN ENGLISH ONLY) SHALL GOVERN THE CONTEST AND ALL ELEMENTS THEREOF AND THE PARTIES RESPECTIVE OBLIGATIONS WITH RESPECT THERETO. USE OF THE WEBSITE, INFORMATION PRACTICES, AND ALL OTHER GENERAL TERMS ARE GOVERNED BY CONTEST HOST’S TERMS OF USE FOR THE WEBSITE AND/OR PRIVACY POLICY AS APPLICABLE. IN THE EVENT OF A DISCREPANCY BETWEEN ANY INFORMATION AND/OR COMMUNICATION, THESE OFFICIAL RULES SHALL GOVERN TO ADDRESS ISSUES RELATING TO THE CONTEST.
PUBLICITY RELEASE & GRANT OF RIGHTS: In addition to the uses of PII specified hereinabove and in any Registration Materials, releases, the Game Rules, and the applicable Privacy Policies, Participants understand and agree they may without obligation be videotaped, recorded, and/or photographed (“Recordings”) during the Contest at any time by Sponsor, Contest Host, or one or more of the Promotion Entities, by other Participants and individuals (and their authorized representatives) who may or may not be affiliated with the Contest. Each Participant grants to Sponsor, Contest Host, and each such Promotion Entity and their authorized representatives and third parties the unrestricted, world-wide, royalty-free license to, or not to, use, mention, commercially exploit, produce, reproduce, distribute, transmit, publish, perform, display, broadcast, and exhibit (“Use”) their name, image, likeness, voice, texts, posts, the Recordings, and any statements (provided accurate and true) in whole or in part (collectively “Personal Attributes”) recorded during the Contest or at any other permitted time. (Such Use may include creating derivative works which may be in altered, combined, composite or condensed format). Such Use may be in any and all media now known or hereinafter developed (including but not limited to Sponsor, Contest Host, and other Promotion Entities and (unrelated) third parties’ websites, digital and off-line social media, marketing and advertising properties) in support of their marketing, business, commercial and any other purposes. Participants agree they have no right of inspection or approval, that no compensation will be given for the above license and rights, whether or not exercised, and agree not to assert any moral rights relating thereto.
RELEASE AND INDEMNIFICATION: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Participants and winners agree to release, indemnify, defend and hold harmless (“Release”) Sponsors, Contest Host, and all other Promotion Entities, their parents, affiliates, subsidiaries and divisions, and their respective directors, officers, employees, contractors and agents (“Released Parties”) from and against any and all threatened or actual actions, liabilities, claims, demands, losses, settlements, fines, damages, costs and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) whether or not litigation is commenced (“dispute”) arising at any time from participation in the Contest (at any phase), Contest and/or prize-related activity or inability to participate in parts thereof, the delivery, acceptance, use, misuse of a prize or any failure with respect thereto, personal injuries, death, damage to or destruction of property, violation of the rights of publicity or privacy, defamation or portrayal in a false light (whether intentional or unintentional), whether under a theory of contract, tort (including negligence), warranty or other theory, any act, default, omission, non-compliance, and/or a violation or breach of any agreement, representation, warranty or covenant made herein, or any other agreements by/with Participant, the Promotion Entities, and/or any other party or entity. Further, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, and without limiting the foregoing, Participants and winners agree: to Release the Released Parties from and against any and all threatened or actual disputes arising at any time directly or indirectly from any dispute brought by any Participant, or other persons or entities (who may be other than a party to the Game Rules) arising from or related to participation and/or involvement in any respect in the Contest. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Participants and winners covenant not to sue any Released Party or cause them to b e sued regarding any matter released herein; and further covenant not to disaffirm, limit or rescind these releases. A waiver by Sponsor, Contest Host, or any other of the Promotion Entities of any term in the Game Rules does not constitute a waiver of any other provision. If any item or provision contained in the Game Rules or any part thereof is declared or becomes unenforceable, invalid or illegal for any reason, all other terms and provisions of the Game Rules shall remain in full force and effect as if executed without the offending provision appearing therein. Where prohibited by law, these release and indemnification provisions may not apply in case of willful misconduct or gross negligence on the part of the Released Parties and in case of any damages of life, body or health or damages arising from a culpable violation of essential contractual rights and duties.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL THE RELEASED PARTIES BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THIS CONTEST, PARTICIPATION (OR INABILITY TO PARTICIPATE) IN ANY CONTEST RELATED ACTIVITIES OR ELEMENTS THEREOF, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE SUBMISSION OF AN ENTRY, PARTICIPANT’S ACCESS TO AND USE OF THE PROMOTIONAL WEBSITES OR THE UPLOADING OF MATERIALS TO THE WEBSITE, AND/OR THE DELIVERY, ACCEPTANCE AND/OR USE/MISUSE OF A PRIZE.
NETWORKS AND CANCELLATION: Promotion Entities are not responsible for typographical error; technical, wi-fi, network, computer, digital, telephone, cable, electronic, or hardware or software
malfunctions, failures, connections, problems; incompatibility; unavailable, garbled, corrupt, or jumbled transmissions; service provider, Internet, wi-fi, website, blog site, user net (in)accessibility, (un)availability or congestion; unauthorized human intervention or security breach; the unauthorized access to, alteration of Game play in whole or in part, the incorrect or inaccurate capture or processing of Game play, or other information, or the failure to process, collect or communicate any information in connection with the Contest or any part there of; electronic errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects, and/or delays; or loss, theft or destruction of Game plays, or any other Contest related materials or information, in whole or in part. If for any reason the Contest or any Game, or any part thereof, is not capable of running as planned for any reason, including (but not limited to) infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, artifice, fraud, cheating, technical failures, a force majeure event, or any other causes similar or dissimilar which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Contest, Game or any part thereof, Sponsor and Contest Host reserve the right in their absolute discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest, that Game, or any part thereof. Promotion Entities reserve the right to select potential non-suspect Participants to continue in the Contest, if applicable (prior to the force majeure event or otherwise), but only if doing so is deemed practicable and equitable in their determination under the circumstances. Any attempt by a Participant to deliberately damage or undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest, a Game or any part thereof, is a violation of laws and should such an attempt be made, Sponsors reserve the right to disqualify Participant and seek damages from any such Participant to the fullest extent of the law.
DISPUTES/ARBITRATION: Sponsor’s decisions are final and binding in all matters and disputes relating to this Promotion, including, but not limited to, interpretation and application of these Official Rules. For greater certainty, such matters and disputes are to be resolved in Sponsor’s sole discretion. By entering, entrants waive all rights to jury trial, class-action lawsuit, or class-wide arbitration in connection with these Official Rules, including, without limitation, the Promotion. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, for any controversy or claim arising out of or relating to these Official Rules and/or the Promotion, entrants and Sponsor irrevocably submit and consent to exclusive, binding arbitration before a neutral one-person arbitrator located in or closest to the County of San Francisco in the State of California. The parties agree not to raise the defense of forum non conveniens. THESE OFFICIAL RULES AND THE INTERPRETATION OF ITS TERMS SHALL BE GOVERNED BY AND CONSTRUED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA WITHOUT REGARD TO CHOICE OF LAW OR CONFLICT OF LAWS DOCTRINES.

Game Play
Overview
Last Spartan Standing is played with 12 players on the Breaker map. Players spawn with 5 lives each and compete to secure grenades and equipment while eliminating other players.
Map spawns
There are no vehicle or weapon spawns on the map. Grenade spawns are random upon each respawn, and equipment is random and determined at the start of each map. Grenades will generally spawn in outdoor locations, while equipment will spawn indoors.
Ordnance pods will drop around the map at regular intervals and will contain a random powerup.
Danger Zone
After one of three conditions are met (five minutes have passed in the match, all players are out of respawns, or only five players are remaining in the match), a circular Danger Zone will appear on the edge of the map and begin to constrict in phases to a random point on the map. Players who travel or are caught outside the Danger Zone's boundaries will slowly take damage until they either die or move into the safe area.
Leveling up
Throughout the game, players earn 100 points for securing a kill and 50 points for scoring an assist. Eliminated players drop their Personal AI, which can be secured by surviving players to earn 500 points.
Upon reaching certain point thresholds, players can upgrade their weapon loadouts by holding down the reload button. Leveling up will replace one weapon with a new one, in-general aiming to ensure players always have one long-range and one close-range option. Levelling up will also automatically reload the weapon players keep.

The winner is the final player to survive with all their lives. There is no time limit beyond the looming threat of the encroaching Danger Zone.
