Guests enjoyed Conversations from far-off places in Dolby SoHo’s fully immersive Experience Room followed by Perry’s presentation in the cellar where he talked about his art and design practice.

The immersive, animated creation celebrated the vivid colors of Dolby Vision. Perry collaborated on the piece with musician, composer, and producer, Homer Steinweiss, who created the entrancing musical sounds which were rendered in Dolby Atmos.

Asteria

In a collaborative commission with Dolby and NASA JPL, and designed for the Dolby Gallery’s 64-foot LED wraparound wall at its headquarters in San Francisco, visual artist GMUNK created a site-specific augmented reality experience for iOS devices. Inspired by Nasa's Jet Propulsion Laboratory and cosmic mythology, Asteria consists of a 3-act, immersive space exploration synchronized with a 12-minute film that plays on loop.
