Music Reborn in Dolby showcased songs from legends to modern-day icons who are pushing the boundaries by creating their music in the multidimensional sound of Dolby Atmos.

Dolby Atmos brings incredible depth and detail to music by expressing the nuances of every song and enveloping listeners. We shared this immersive experience with visitors as they explored 10 different spaces by trailblazing artists.

A highlight of the exhibit was an interactive booth that let visitors star in their own music video. Visitors moved their bodies to manipulate sounds, create dynamic visuals, and then could post their videos on social media.

Wu-Tang Wu-seum

The Wu-Seum was a special exhibit at Dolby SoHo dedicated to one of the most iconic hip hop groups of all time, the Wu-Tang Clan. It featured 11 installations highlighting Wu-Tang Clan’s fascinating journey from the projects of Staten Island to international superstardom.

 

Presented in partnership with SHOWTIME and Mass Appeal, the exhibit celebrated the release of the SHOWTIME Original docuseries, Wu-Tang Clan: of Mics and Men, commemorating the group’s 25th anniversary. Fans enjoyed an exclusive experience with new Wu-Tang Clan music and clips from the show mastered in Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos for an immersive exhibit.

The Dolby Airstream

Featuring a living room setup to show what the powerful combination of Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos brings to home entertainment, and a mini mixing studio for music artists, this mobile dedicated space is built to inspire and educate.

The Airstream has travelled far and wide to spread the word of Dolby. It has visited the annual National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM), a J Balvin Immersive Experience in Miami to celebrate the Premio Lo Nuestro awards, and the American Music Awards (AMA) in Los Angeles — and that's just a few of the places it has been.

The NPR Tiny Desk Fest

NPR celebrated over 10 years of Tiny Desk concerts with their first ever Tiny Desk Fest, a four-night series of intimate performances hosted at NPR’s HQ in Washington, D.C. Each performance was followed by an interview with the artist. Fans were welcomed into the NPR lobby by 10 LG televisions displaying videos and playing music in the unmatched combination of Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.
